Ghana Revenue Authority hold Memorial Service for Late President Atta Mills (Former Commissioner)
The Ghana Revenue Authority today held an in-house pre-burial service for the Late President of the republic of Ghana who also served as a Commissioner in its erstwhile Internal Revenue Service. Staff from some of its District offices joined top management staff and colleagues at the Head Office to mourn the departed hero. Present were the Board Chairman of the Authority Mr. Ernest E. Kwesie, the Commissioner General Mr. George Blankson, his associate Commissioners Mrs. Comfort Boohene-Osafo, Mr. Anthony Minlah and Major General Carl Modey. Also in attendance were his Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners. Rev. David Okoe and Oduro Yeboah consoled members of staff on the departure of the Commissioner. Delivering his address, the Commissioner General recounted how as a Commissioner the Late President championed various reforms in tax administration.
