BEAUTY IN THE SHOP

Ayi Kwei Armah, a renowned Ghanaian writer, published a book in 1968 titled, 'The Beautiful Ones Are Not Yet Born'. Indeed, you can support this adage, but I want to assure you that the beautiful ones are born and are right here with us. You can find them in beauty shops, cosmetic shops, health SPAs, you name it.

Gone are the days when a lady beholds herself in a mirror and turns away depressed and saddened. A lot of women have been depressed in one way or the other due to the structure of their legs, toe nails, buttocks size, breast size, finger nails, lips, eyes, texture and length of hair etc.
No matter how ugly one appears, there are additives proffered by beauty therapists to enhance one's beauty. From the crown of one's head to the sole of one's feet items such us; artificial nails, lip gloss, facial powder, mascarra, artificial eye lashes, artificial eye pupil, artificial hair etc. can change a scarecrow into a perfect beauty queen.

If you don't agree with me, see below.

Can you see the additives?
